Snow days now being paid back: March 22, May 24 and May 28.

5/16          Spring Show...Grades 1-4

The children will go to confession Monday morning this week.

Report Cards went home on Friday. Please sign the envelope and send it back to school.

Easter vacation begins Thursday. Wednesday is a full day.

Mrs. Maldonado is preparing a calendar of 8th grade events with the finalized activities. You will have it before we go on the Easter break. Most important: Graduation Mass on Monday, June 10 at 10 am,reception for parents and graduates, slide show to follow. Graduation ceremony on Friday, June 14 at 6 pm.

THIS WEEK IN CLASS:

SOCIAL STUDIES- GRADE 8:
The 8th grade will continue to study the events that will lead to what is known as "The Cold War". This week we will examine the Cuban Missile Crisis.

SOCIAL STUDIES-GRADE 7:
The 7th grade will  study the administrations of  Andrew Jackson.
 
SOCIAL STUDIES-GRADE 6:
 We will begin to study the religion of Islam. 

SOCIAL STUDIES-GRADE  5 :                                                                                                     In Social Studies this week, we will learn about the influx of immigrants at the end of 19th century and we will begin to learn about WW I.

RELIGION
The value we will concentrate on in April is Orderliness.
We will continue to study the final unit on Morality. We will learn about the Capital Sins and go to confession this week.
