Weekly Update

For the week of November 23rd,

I hope everyone had a restful weekend. I am proud to say we have former students participating in food and toy drives in their high school. If your child brings in two items for the food drive and/or an unwrapped toy for the toy drive, he/she can have a dress down day the day the item is handed in. We also have a toy drive being run by our 4th grade class. If you child brings a toy in for that drive, a dress down day will also be rewarded.

This week, Thanksgiving Recess begins Wednesday November 25th.

Students have been asked to begin the process of looking for as Historical Fiction novel. This novel should be in by 11/16. On the tab "Files" I have a list of historical fiction novels to help guide students to a book they will have interest in reading.

To the right is the grading policy of the JHS team. Please remember to reach out to the teacher who assigned the assessment with any questions you may have.
