Welcome to the St. Hilary School Fine Arts Program!

The mission of the St. Hilary School Fine Arts Program is to build an appreciation of art, teach skills, encourage confidence in producing art, and prepare students for the future. Above all, to encourage students to think creatively, like artists!

We teach students to think and learn creatively. We want our students to be curious, seek questions, and develop unique ideas. This method of learning allows students to use their art education outside the studio!

Students experience art in a variety of ways including art production, art criticism, art history, and art aesthetics. Students learn basic concepts in art such as art elements and principles, learn unique art techniques, use self-discipline, and experience exciting hands-on learning. All students are introduced to a variety of art media to enhance their experiences. As the students grow, so does their skill level.
