Volunteering for PTO

The St. Bridget PTO runs a wide variety of family, kid and parent-oriented events and activities throughout the year. These many activities often require a host of people to be successful and therefore is a great opportunity to volunteer at Saint Bridget School. Please read over the descriptions and see what the PTO has planned. If there is a need for volunteers, it is included with the description. Please contact either the Chairperson, or a PTO Board Member. The time you spend volunteering at SBS is priceless and appreciated more than you will ever know!

Watch the Wednesday Weekly for upcoming activities and updates to this list, as well as google docs and Sign-Up Genius notifications.

PTO Board Members are as follows:

Jenn Ryan (JR) – President

Nikki Abate – Vice President

Business Office – Treasurer

Kristin Zawatski – Recording Secretary

Caterina Rorick – Corresponding Secretary

Help Needed:  You do not have to be present in the school to be a room parent.  Many of our room parents work full time.  New this year, we will be creating a parent advisory committee from the room parents.  We will have two room parents from grades PS-2, two room parents from grades 3-5 and two room parents from grades 6-8 that will gather questions, feedback and ideas from the other parents in their grade to meet with Mrs. Chaves once per trimester and then follow-up with the other parents on the meetings.  There will be a kick-off meeting at the beginning of the year in the evening for all room parents to help set expectations and answer questions for the new year.
