The Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) is a citizenship program designed to give students a head start. NJROTC develops self discipline, self confidence and leadership skills to help cadets successfully meet life's challenges. People who are successful in life, who succeed in business, industry, and education, have developed strong self discipline, the ability to work as part of a team, and a well rounded character. The NJROTC curriculum and instructional activities are designed to develop personal character and leadership ability regardless of your career path. Cadets are awarded P.E. credit towards graduation for completion of one year of NJROTC and awarded CTE or elective credit for completion of additional years of NJROTC.
CDR Brad Roberson, USN (Ret) is the Senior Naval Science Instructor and has over 26 years of military service with experience in Surface Warfare, Nuclear Propulsion, and Personnel Management.
MGYSGT Jason Dow, USMC (Ret) is the Naval Science Instructor and has over 24 years of military service with experience in Administration, as a Drill Instructor and AMOI at NROTC UA.
