Festulolium is a cross between italian ryegrass and meadow fescue. Festulolium
shows good disease resistance and yielding ability. Festulolium will establish rapidly and has high forage production, especially in its first year. Festulolium can be used any time perennial ryegrass would be normally used and is an excellent addition where palatability and dry matter yield are both important. Festulolium can be used for grazing, hay, silage and green chop.
