I'm excited to continue this adventure and share my love of the Spanish language with my students!
Did you know:
*The US has almost 40 million native Spanish speakers! By 2050 it will be the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world!
*Spanish is the second most studied language in the world! In 2010, the number of people studying Spanish as a second language was more than 20 million!
*Mexico contains the largest number of Spanish speakers, with 114 million. The US is second, with 50 million speakers.

Classes at Sacred Heart will be a strong introduction of the Spanish language for students and their future studies in high school and beyond. Students will focus on speaking, writing, reading and communicating. We will sing songs, play games, read books, use text books, have homework, do projects and have quizzes & exams. It will be a great year!
