"DRIVE IN" MASSES FOR PENTECOST
This Sunday, May 31, Pentecost Sunday, we will celebrate "Drive In" Masses.  We will have two Masses in English at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM and one Mass in Spanish at 1:00 PM.  These Masses will replace the private prayer previously scheduled in the church. THERE WILL BE NO PRIVATE PRAYER IN THE CHURCH ON SUNDAY, MAY 31st.
It is important to note that the general dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass granted by Cardinal Tobin remains in effect until further notice. No one is required to attend Mass at this time.
Our ability to offer these Masses relies on all participants following the guidelines provided here.  Your courteous compliance will insure that we can offer these type of Masses going forward.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT YOU ASSUME THE SAME RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES COMING TO THE DRIVE IN MASS THAT YOU DO GOING TO ANY OTHER PUBLIC PLACE.
TO THIS EXTENT YOU ARE REMINDED THAT YOU MUST
1. STAY HOME IF YOU HAVE HAD CORONAVIRUS OR BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE WITH CORONAVIRUS IN THE LAST 14 DAYS
2. STAY HOME IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL OR HAVE A FEVER

How will this work?

1. We can accommodate approximately 30 cars in the parking lot for Mass.  Spaces will be filled on a first come first served basis.

2. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COME IN  A CAR AND MUST REMAIN IN THE CAR FOR THE DURATION OF THE MASS.  You can not park elsewhere and walk to the parking lot.
NO SITTING OR STANDING OUTSIDE WILL BE PERMITTED DUE TO THE CURRENT PUBLIC HEALTH MANDATES.

3. As cars will be parked next to each other it is important to remember to bring masks if you are planning on rolling down your window.
As we take a few baby steps back towards celebration of the sacraments, your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated!!

CHURCH OPEN FOR PRIVATE PRAYER
IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT YOU ASSUME THE SAME RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES COMING TO THE CHURCH FOR PRIVATE PRAYER THAT YOU DO GOING TO ANY OTHER PUBLIC PLACE.
TO THIS EXTENT YOU ARE REMINDED THAT IN COMPLIANCE WITH CURRENT PUBLIC HEALTH MANDATES AND IN CHARITY TO OTHER VISITORS TO OUR CHURCH YOU MUST:
  1. STAY HOME IF YOU HAVE HAD CORONAVIRUS OR BEEN EXPOSED TO ANYONE WITH CORONAVIRUS IN THE LAST 14 DAYS
 2. STAY HOME IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL
  3. WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING WHILE YOU ARE IN THE CHURCH
  4. MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING FROM OTHERS IN THE CHURCH WHO HAVE COME TO PRAY
The church will open Tuesday  May 26, Wednesday, May 27, Thursday, May 28 and Friday May 29 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The only entrance that will be open is the center doors of the main entrance on Ridge Road.  ONLY 10 PEOPLE WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE CHURCH AT ONE TIME.  PLEASE NOTE THAT RESTROOM WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
We will use 8 pews for private prayer towards the front of the church.  These pews will have a sign on them that say "Please UseThis Pew For Private Prayer."  To help ensure social distancing, the pews between these pews, the pews in the back and the side of the church and the choir area have all been marked off with yellow caution barrier tape.  Please do not enter areas that have the yellow barrier tape.  Your cooperation in following these directions is greatly appreciated and shows your charity and concern for others.

As the cases of coronavirus increase exponentially, it is a moral imperative for all people to do what is humanly possible to prevent the spread of the illness. Large gatherings of people have rapidly become a grave health risk.  Therefore it is with great sadness that I share with you this mandate from Cardinal Tobin concerning the Archdiocese of Newark.

The Anointing of the Sick and Reconciliation will be available on an extreme emergency basis only.  To speak to a priest call 201-438-1147 select 1 for parish office then 1 for Fr. Theesmas or 2 for Fr. Archie.

Our church building will remain closed

The parish office is closed until further notice.

Faith Not Fear--Prayer Not Panic

The coronavirus pandemic unfortunately caused us to postpone our parish family's St. Patrick Dinner fundraiser.  While restrictions on gatherings of large numbers of people continue, it is very difficult to plan and schedule a new date.  PLEASE HOLD ON TO YOUR TICKETS AS THEY WILL BE HONORED AT OUR NEXT EVENT.  Watch the bulletin and listen to the announcements for information on the new event as it becomes available.  If you have any questions, please call the parish office 201-438-1147 Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00

"In a world where there is so much noise, so much bewilderment, there is a need for silent adoration of Jesus concealed in the Host. Be assiduous in the prayer of adoration and teach it to the faithful. It is a source of comfort and light, particularly to those who are suffering."
