Our schedule for future meetings will be as follows:
Every Saturday at 4 PM (Majority: 9 votes)
In addition to the Saturday meeting, one weekday meeting each week:
2/11/10 Thursday 8 PM (8 votes for Thursday, 6 for 8 PM)
2/17/10 Wednesday 7 PM (7 votes for Wednesday, 6 for 7 PM)
2/22/10 Monday 6 PM (5 votes for Monday, 4 for 6 PM)
These days were chosen based on popularity and the fact that certain people can only come on certain days. I'm sorry that we can't accommodate for everyone, but you can also go to www.gokgs.com or www.wbaduk.com to play online!
After the 2/22 meeting, we will decide which weekday meeting to keep based on attendance! If it's close, we'll simply keep the rotation of days for the rest of the semester. Come on time to the weekday meetings (or at least give notice via e-mail), since if no one shows up within the first 30-40 minutes or so, I'll leave.
You can find this information (in form of a google calendar) and more on our website! http://sites.google.com/a/sa.binghamton.edu/binghamton-university-go-club/Home

We'll be having our first meeting this semester on Saturday, Jan. 30th, at 4 PM. Same place as last semester: Ground Floor of the Hinman Dining Hall.
As with any good GIM, free food and refreshments will be served!
If you can't make this meeting, be sure to e-mail me back with days and times when you'd be available!
This Saturday (11/14) 4pm Hinman Dining Hall, we'll be having pizza courtesy of Papa John's! If there's a topic or drink you'd like us to pick up, e-mail us back ASAP.
Also, if you have any ideas that you want to try, we'd probably be happy to give it a shot!
In addition, if anyone wants to do arts and crafts or just help design it, we have to make a banner for our club when we table. Right now, all we have are flimsy paper ones, so we're looking to upgrade for next semester. ;)
Until otherwise noted, the BU Go Club will have meetings every Saturday afternoon, 4 PM in the Hinman Dining Hall (Lower Level).
If there's any interest in having a weekday night meeting as well (especially if you can't go on Saturday), e-mail me back!
Since we didn't get to spend any money on food last week (as per request), we'll be looking to bring food to the table this week (again, assuming people feel like eating this time).
'Officially' join the club at paws.binghamton.edu and check out our website at http://sites.google.com/a/sa.binghamton.edu/binghamton-university-go-club/Home
Our General Interest Meeting will be held:
Hinman Dining Hall (Lower Level)
Free Food and Refreshments!
Hope to see you all there! And the late meeting time is for those who complained about the 'early' times last year. Reply back with days/times you'd like to meet, along with anything else you'd like to see.
We won't be having a meeting this Saturday, 4/18, because we'll be heading over to Syracuse for the tournament. Check out our website for pics from last year! If anyone wants to go, e-mail/call me back ASAP!
E-mail email@example.com (our old president) if you want free lessons online!
Meetings are now Saturdays at 2 PM, Thursdays at 7 PM.
We'll be tabling at BUJA's Japan Night the week after! Come and watch!
We will be testing out a new program: A lesson at the beginning of every 2 PM Saturday meeting. People can play or listen to the lesson; their choice.
3/21: Lesson One: Understanding the Opening
3/28: Lesson Two: Life and Death
4/25: Lesson Three: Understanding the Endgame
On a similar note, you can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org (our old president) if you want free lessons online!
Remember: Meetings are now Saturdays at 2 PM, Thursdays at 7 PM.
We're thinking about changing the weekday meeting, if you've been busy on Thursdays, e-mail me back when you can meet instead!
Also, we're looking for people who'd like to be part of the E-Board next year! E-mail me also!
Is anyone interested in any of the following things? It's okay if you're not entirely sure (or may change your mind later), we just need to see how many people would be interested. Send a response back to email@example.com !
Here's our agenda for this semester:
Based on what we've heard from the first meeting, we'll be meeting Saturdays, 1 pm, at the Hinman Dining Hall (Lower Level).
However, like past semesters, we're also looking into having a weekday meeting also. This semester, my classes all end before 7p, so I'm more available. Are there any specific days you'd prefer to meet?
