We are incredibly proud of all our tamariki who performed on stage at the Pae Tamariki festival at the Regent earlier in the week. What a show!

A huge thank you to all our parents who helped out. We really could not attend these sorts of events without your support.

A special thanks to Jo Johansen and Te Iti Rearea for all your work and dedication fitting out the entire roopu with uniforms. The work for this has been happening for many years including fundraising, planning and designing and has finally come to fruition. Ka pai to mahi! The design on the front panel of the girls dresses was created two years ago by a student, Harrison Clayton-Smith and chosen to represent RSS Kapahaka Roopu.

Harrison's ideas behind his design was as follows:
In the middle is the Poutama that represents the “Stair case to knowledge”. On the side are the three lines that represents a person, beside it is another person. Between them are lines that link them together. Over all, it represents kotahitanga.

We are so grateful for such an amazing community and really amazing children. If you have images of videos from the day please share them with us.
