I Love to Read Month

Be A Smart Cookie!  Read!

Student minute Sheet

Reading minutes   Please keep track of the number of minutes read by your students at home. A sheet will be sent that should be filled out and returned each Friday.  There are 4 sections.  Fill out week 1, cut it off from the rest, and students bring it to their homeroom teacher.  Please help remind your students to turn these in each Friday! If you need another sheet, there is a pdf copy on the Jacobson Elementary website.

The student goal is to read 135,000 minutes during the month.  If we make our goal, on March 1st,  we will have an assembly where students get to participate in a cookie eating contest and other cookie themed games!  The top PreK - 2nd grade class and 3rd - 6th grade class with the most minutes will get to have a class party with cookies and hot chocolate! A big thank you to the Rush City Bakery for providing the cookies!

Book Swap
