Grade sevens, in September you guys will be coming into grade 8. As a senior I am gonna tell you a few do's and dont's.......

* get involved in different types of activities.
* try new things like sports, leadership and more.
* be nice and kind to your teachers, friends, youngers and the public.
* last but not the least focus and pay attention to your studies and academics.
* listen to your elders and teachers.

* mix with the right type of people for you. Its best to ignore the ones that are bad for you.
* don't do the wrong things or you will get into trouble.
* use your devices in classes, hallways and bathrooms. Only use them when you are supposed to.

Grade 8 might be difficult and confusing but it is a very important grade. You will have a lot of fun this year. After all you are the eldest in the building.... :) :P

My experience in rtms this year was great. I have made a lot of friends. I have also improved a lot in my studies. I have improved in my athletic abilities also. These were few of the things that i have improved on. The few things that i have lost in my life are not really the things i regret losing. This year i have lost only a few friends.

On May 1, 2016, a wildfire began southwest of Fort McMurrayAlbertaIt swept through the community, on May 3rd destroying more than 2,400 homes and buildings and forcing the largest wildfire evacuation in Alberta85 per cent of Fort McMurray is still intact, despite a devastating wildfire that ravaged several neighbourhoods.
Beacon Hill and most of Abasand were almost completely levelled by the flames, with home after home reduced to nothing but ash, concrete and rebar. Vehicles sitting in driveways are now just metal carcasses and melted tires. Blackened barbecues sit next to metal patio sets and children’s bicycles lie broken and twisted from the heat.

The Best Invention In The World......

posted May 3, 2016, 11:23 AM by Unknown user   [ updated May 5, 2016, 12:04 PM by Unknown user ]

*The best invention is the internet.
*The Internet, a network of computers covering the entire planet, allows people to access almost any information located anywhere in the world at any time.
*The Internet is such a powerful invention that we've only begun to see the effects it will have on the world.
*The ability to diffuse and recombine information with such efficiency could accelerate the rate at which further world-changing inventions are created.
*Like any invention, the good or ill it accomplishes will come from how we choose to use it.
*The Internet may not have changed the world as much as the plow, but it's probably on par with the steam engine or automobile.
