A few years ago libraries were a very important source for accessing information for research through books, encyclopedias and CD's. People would also go to the library as a form of socializing or even just as a quiet space to read and reflect. Now in the age of fast growing technology libraries have almost become obsolete. It is easy to gather information online through the internet where you can find audio books, endless information on whatever topic you choose. Libraries even offer signing out of books online or you can reserve the book online and pick it up at any library location you prefer. This eliminates the need to go to the library look around and socialize. Many coffee shops now offer free wifi for people to surf the net, do homework or conduct buissness while in an environment where they can have quiet or conversation.
