Piping involves the right techniques, amount of pressure, and the tools. Different tips vary for the design you are looking for. This topic will be on how to get your desired look.

1. Piping tips: Piping tips don't only come with different ends but also in different sizes, which doesn't effect the look too much however, if you are looking for a certain size these tips come in handy.

2. Pressure: Piping also needs the right amount of pressure. If you apply too much pressure, there is a possibility that the piping bag might explode, however there is a more likely chance of icing leaking out of the sides of the bag. But you still don't want to apply to little pressure as your design may have holes/spaces between them and it looks incomplete (unless you like that look).

Tip: Try a couple of designs on some parchment paper before you put it on the cake for practice to determine to much pressure and the type of tip needed
