Now, here's someone that most people don't know much about.  Do you like sports?  To be more specific, do you like sprinting? Well, here's someone who loves to sprint.  He is a punjabi.  His name is... Milkha Singh! He was born in 1935 and loved to sprint.  In fact, he was often called "the flying sikh." He was introduced to sprinting after he had enrolled in the Indian Army. As of 2013, he is the only male athlete to win an individual athletics gold medal at a Commonwealth Games.  Milkha Singh came 4th place and let people pass him. Although he came 4th place, he broke a record of 45.73 became the Indian National Record (INR) and held for almost 40 years!!  He was one of 15 siblings, and out 15, 8 had died in the Partition of India. Sadly, he had become an orphan and had witnessed all of these killings.  He had stated, "I came from a remote village, I didn't know what running was, or the Olympics." Isn't he interesting? I like learning about these kind of people. What about all of you?
