Hi my name is Sayuri, and this is my blog. Ok guys, t's tie t get serious, so strap on your brains, and let's get deep. So , very many of us already know that "equality" is a very big issue that in some ways, still isn't legal in very many countries, and that needs to change. We may not get EVERYONE, but we'll probably get some hearts tonight. So just read on if you wanna cry. So there are these people, and they are people just like us, but allot of adults and children have taken a beautiful word, made it into something horrible, and spat it at those who don't choose to follow it, but are only born that way. Now, I am a Christian, but I do want there to be less hate in the world, and everyday, even after all the assemblies, celebs talking about it, and various fundraisers, people just don't seem to get it into their head, if you are hurting someone by physically, or verbally abusing them, then you are being a bully. -Yes,  you are being an ignorant, rude, self-centred, moron who probably has life problems and just wants to make him/herself better by picking on a small group of something that a large percentage of the world already knows is fabulous, but you where just too stupid to catch on. And this was just a very small bit of a huge problem that really needs to be solved. (next time we might talk about how bullying drives people to kill themselves) It's just like Makelmore's song lyrics:"Man, that's gay" gets dropped on the daily We become so numb to what we're saying A culture founded from oppression Yet we don't have acceptance for 'em Call each other faggots behind the keys of a message board A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it Gay is synonymous with the lesser It's the same hate that's caused wars from religion Gender to skin colour, the complexion of your pigment The same fight that led people to walk outs and sit inst's human rights for everybody, there is no difference! Live on and be yourself. So be gay, fabulous, happy (etc.) , but really, it doesn't matter, because they are all the same. And here is a recipe for a delicious, Sri Lankan love cake:

Sri Lankan Love Cake:

  • Melted butter (for using as a grease)
  • 375 g raw unsalted cashews
  • 200 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 315 g caster sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 20 g semolina
  • 80 ml honey
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Icing sugar

1.Preheat oven to 150°C. Brush a 20 cm  cake pan with melted butter to grease. Line base and sides with non-stick baking sheets.

2.Put the cashews in the bowl of a food processor and process until finely chopped.

3.Use an electric beater to beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until very light and smooth. Add the egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating well after each . Use a large metal spoon to pour in the cashews, semolina, honey, rosewater, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

4.Use an electric beater to beat the egg whites in a clean dry bowl until firm peaks form. Pour into semolina mixture.
Pour the cake mixture into the greased pan. Bake in oven for 1 hour 10 minutes or until firm to the touch. Turn oven off. Leave the cake in the oven, with the door slightly open to cool . Cut into pieces and dust with icing sugar to serve:)
