What is PTO?

The Waterboro Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) supports the school staff in its efforts to promote the welfare of the children and youth in the home, school, and community.  We facilitate fundraisers so that teachers and staff can provide programs and projects that would not be possible with the school’s tight budget.

Who Can be a PTO member?

All interested parents, guardians, teachers, staff and children are welcome at all PTO meetings.

What happens at the PTO meeting?

We have monthly meetings to discuss events happening at our school and affecting our students.  Attending meetings offers parents the opportunity to connect and interact with other parents, staff and the school Principal and Assistant Principal.

What can I do to get involved?

There are many ways to be part of your child’s education no matter how much time you have to give.

Volunteer your time.

Participate in just one event, even for an hour. We always need the help. These events cannot occur without Volunteers and Parent/Guardian involvement.

Participate in the fundraisers.
