Wing Farm Site  Approved by the State Board of Education
On May 10th, the State Board of Education unanimously approved Wing Farm as the site
for the new Morse High School and the Bath Regional Career and Technical Center. The
42.84+ acre site is adjacent to the existing middle school site. Forty of the acres are part of
the Wing Farm Business Park, and the remaining 2.84 acres are privately owned.
The district is very appreciative of the support from all of our communities in the site selection process. Since we are building the new school in Bath, we would like to specifically thank the City for their assistance and cooperation.
Currently, the district is working diligently on designing the interior and exterior of the new school.

In the Spring of 2014 Morse High School was placed on the Approved Construction Projects List by the State Board of Education.  This means that the building needs of Morse will be addressed through a major capital construction project supported by the state.

The district has formed a MHS - BRCTC Building Committee, comprised of 9 members, to begin the work on this exciting project.  Members of the committee are: Patrick Manuel, Superintendent; Deb Clark, Business Manager; David Richards, Maintenance Director; Bill Perkins, School Board Member; Steve August, School Board Member; Alan Walton, School Board Member; Kay Beverage, Community Member; Leigh Ann Card, Community Member; Steve Singer, Community Member; David Matero, Community Member; Cree Krull, Community Member; Debora Keller, Community Member; Kara Thelen, Community Member; Karen Robbins, Community Member. Read more on the Committees Page.

For the Concept Design Schedule, click here.  All dates, times and locations for all committee meetings are posted on their pages.  Currently the Building Committee and the Sub-Committees of Design and Sustainability are meeting together as posted.  All meetings are open to the public.  For further information regarding these sub-committees, click on the committee name in the left column.

Dates for additional community meetings about the design of the building, including potential locally funded items, will be scheduled in the near future.
