Schedule for the last week of school - June 10th to June 14th

Monday June 10  Regular Schedule             

  1:30 p.m.   Jog-a- thon

  Participants will be released following attendance being taken in 6th period.                               

Tuesday June 11  PLC Schedule


 From 1:30- 2:30 students will report to Advisory teachers for Chromebook Check-in


Wednesday June 12  PLC Schedule


1:30-2:30 Talent Show Assembly - Classes will be called down by grade level


Thursday June 13th  PLC Schedule  


Yearbooks will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the small gym for those who have per-paid.  Those who did not get their yearbook before school will be called down by grade level to get yearbooks.


Locker clean-out begins at 8:05 with 6th grade, 7th will clean out lockers during 2nd and 8th will clean lockers during 3rd.


Recognition/PEP Assembly 1:30 - 2:30 - Classes will be called down by grade level

Friday June 14th   Early release schedule.  Shortened classes periods 1-6


Students are asked not to bring any other items to school other than their yearbook and a pen.


A free lunch will be offered to all students beginning at 10:05.

Students will be released at 11:00 a.m.

The 8th Grade Party is quickly approaching!

Hello 8th Grade Parents!

Our 8th Grade Graduation Party is quickly approaching…3 weeks and counting.   Tickets are available for purchase on the PTO Square Store, click here to get yours reserved today.  The permission form/waiver is available to download on the CMS website, please sign and return to the school with your student. The PTO will be selling tickets during 8th grade lunches the week of June 3-7th.   Remember ticket prices go up at the door, so don’t wait to get yours!

Help is still needed!    We are still in need of 6-8 parents to help chaperone the evening of the event.  If there are any parents who would like to take on the challenge of setting up a dodgeball and/or 3on3 basketball tourney, please contact Dana Munn (   For those parents who have already donated to this event- THANK YOU!  Your generous donation will help pay for the CBRC rental & DJ, it also allows us to keep the ticket price of this event affordable so that all CMS 8th grade students can enjoy!   Cash donations are still being accepted via the PTO Square Store or we have also created a separate donation sign-up for food and drinks for this event.

Chromebooks: Summer Checkout Information

CMS families,

The Richland School District is offering the opportunity for your child to check out their Chromebook over the summer.  

In order to check out the Chromebook, parents will need to click on the link below:


Families wishing to check-out a Chromebook & charger for summer need to complete the Family ID prior to June 5th.  

On June 6th and 7th our school librarian, Mrs. Anderson, will check in with those students who are signed up.                              

She will check to make sure the Chromebook is in good working condition and Family ID has been filled out correctly.

Any students not checking out a Chromebook & charger over summer will turn them in during Advisory on June 11th.

PBIS Parent Access

 CMS staff have been busy rewarding students PAWsitive points for PAWsitive behaviors. The first opportunity to redeem these points will be this Friday at lunch where Rootbeer Floats will be available. Be on the lookout next week for instructions coming home on how you can access your student's points & track the PAWsitive things they are doing here at CMS.
