Prom Information

   Roanoke Rapids High School’s Prom 2017 will be held:

Saturday, April 8th

8:30pm – 12:00am, Kirkwood Adams Civic Center

There will be a formal sit down dinner at the civic center at 630. The student cost is $10 a person. The Junior Class will cover the rest!

Prom Guidelines:

  • All RRHS Juniors and Seniors who are not suspended at the time of Prom are eligible to attend the Prom.
  • The doors will open for Prom at 8:30pm and close at 9:00pm. Students will not be admitted after 9:00pm without special administrator permission.
  • Students and guests will need to present photo ID at the door.
  •  Prom will end at Midnight. Students who leave before 11:30pm will need to sign out.
  • RRHS’s Prom is a formal event and formal dress will be expected of all attendees.
  • RRHS reserves the right to deny admittance to Prom to any student or guest who does not meet behavior, attendance, or dress guidelines, regardless of ticket purchase.

Dinner - $10

The RRHS Junior class is hosting a formal, catered meal for $10. A local caterer will be offering a buffet style meal with choice of chicken, steak, vegetables, potatoes, rolls and dessert. Purchasing a ticket will also come with a complimentary swag bag that will be exclusive to ONLY dinner guests, and the swag bag will be filled with one-of-a-kind Prom 2017 Memorabilia. Dinner tickets can be purchased at ANY ticket sale day in February and March.
Plus, Works of Tart photography will be taking an exclusive photo prior to the start of prom and will be developed BEFORE prom goers leave.
The break down is this: a delicious yet inexpensive meal, an awesome one-of-a kind-swag bag, AND an exclusive photo all for $10!

Bringing a Guest?

Anyone who is not a current RRHS Junior or Senior qualifies as a “guest.” This includes non-RRHS students, alumni, and RRHS Freshmen and Sophomores. To bring a guest, students must purchase a guest ticket (Early price - $35; Regular - $50) and fill out a guest registration form. Guest registration forms are available at all ticket sale dates from Mrs. May or Mrs. Sass and must be returned by March 22! Guests under the age of 14 or over the age of 20 will require special approval from the administration.

The grand prize is two free DINNER tickets for an exclusive, delicious steak or chicken dinner (comes with swag bag AND Works of Tart photo shoot), and OTHER prizes will be given away!
