Response to Intervention

The purpose of Royal Oak's K-12 RTI Team is to ensure and improve the learning of all students.  This team is devoted to implementing with fidelity the three-tier model of instructional interventions.

First and foremost, the professional educators in Royal Oak will focus on reflective Tier I instruction inside the classroom.  Here, teachers, administrators, and support staff use student data to reflect on our practice and to improve and adjust our practices to best meet the needs of the students inside our classrooms.  When necessary, we will work as a team to build more specialized interventions in Tiers II and III for students who may need a more intense intervention.
