If you give your kids the materials and a little direction, they can learn to create art in their own special way. Students can become independent and creative thinkers through this type of art making experience. In my classroom we focus on 2 main driving questions- "what do artists do?" and "where do artists get their ideas?" and through these driving questions students explore materials and subject matter that interests them.
