Hi! My name is Stefanie Bateman. This is my sixteenth year teaching and my eleventh year as a Special Education Teacher at Round Rock High School. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Science Degree in Special Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I am certified in the areas of Math, English, and Special Education and I am Highly Qualified in Social Studies. Before I taught at RRHS, I was a teacher at Lincoln Middle School in El Paso, Texas and at Leander High School in Leander, Texas.

I have taught many subjects, including Applied Middle School Math and Middle School English, Middle and High School Content Mastery, High School Credit Recovery, English 9 and 10, English Inclusion, World Geography Inclusion, Biology Inclusion, Algebra I Inclusion, Geometry Inclusion, Math Models Inclusion and Algebra II Inclusion. This will be my first year teaching Applied High School Math.

While teaching remains my passion, I have worked in other fields as well. My first job was with the United States Army as a Signal Officer. Then I worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer, followed by a part-time position as a Court Clerk. When my children, Thomas and Douglas were born, I became a full-time stay-at-home Mom. Presently, Thomas is an Officer with the United States Air Force and Douglas is an Airborne Ranger with the United States Army. My husband John and I have been married for 32 years.
