Mrs. Palmer

Raised in El Paso, Texas, I proudly earned my BA in British and American Literature from the University of Texas at El Paso. I earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Abilene Christian University.  I have taught for 22 years, 18 of them right here at McNeil. All of those years I have been blessed to teach the finest students in the state, so I am eager to meet the next round of bests.

I really encourage communication.  Toward that end, please note the multiple ways for you to contact me:

This year I am returning to coaching one UIL Academic Team--Literary Criticism. If you are interested in participating, please stop by.

I am also working with two clubs--the first is AP Ambassadors.  This is a club designed for students who are taking any AP course and need the camaraderie of others who understand the thrill and the challenge.  We are not limited to grade level or subject matter--we simply want to get together to discuss and perhaps problem solve the challenges associated with upper level course work.  Please join us every third Tuesday either at 8:30 in the A.m. or 4:30 in the P.M. in B-216

The second club is The McNeil Chapter of National English Honor Society.  Our co-sponsor is Ms. McGuinness.   You must be a junior or senior to participate in this group.  We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month in B-216
