About The Teacher

Hello! I'm excited to be teaching my 18th year of first grade at DFT! I am a proud graduate of The University of Texas. I LOVE teaching, getting to know my first graders, and seeing their awesome growth during our year together! When I'm not at school... I enjoy spending time with my family, grandkids & puppy; along with reading, traveling, hiking, spa treatments, shopping and trying new healthy recipes! Thanks for entrusting your children to me, it's going to be an awesome year!

This year, we want to be good citizens, have fun and be better readers and writers! We want to learn and work hard in math too! We will use the 7 habits, follow our rules and be kind and respectful as we get ready for 2^nd grade!
