My Family

This will be my 8th year teaching and coaching at Chisholm Trail. I am very excited to get to work with students in Math and Athletics. I am teaching 7th grade on-level Math. I am coaching 8^th grade Volleyball (A-team), Basketball (8th A-team), Track (shot put/discus & long distance), and Soccer. My ultimate goal in education is to inspire students to develop a love of life-long learning and healthy living. As an educator I strive to ingrain problem solving skills in my students so that as adults they will be successful in adjusting to any obstacles they may encounter. Essentially, we as educators have the opportunity to lay the educational foundation that will promote a love of life-long learning.

I graduated from Arizona State University in 2008 with my Bachelors in Kinesiology and obtained my Masters in Educational Leadership from UTPB in 2020. My teaching certifications include Physical Education EC-12 and Math 4-8 with Special Education and ESL Supplements. I have two loving children, my son is a junior in college and my daughter is in 7th grade. Both kids love being active and keep me on my toes. I look forward to teaching & coaching your children and connecting with families so that we may promote the love of life-long learning and healthy living together!
