A Message From Ms Lake

We are excited to have your child in the FLC Classroom this year. If he/she is new then welcome, if he/she is returning to us the welcome back.

A Note from our PTA

PTA MEMBERSHIP - THANK YOU to everyone who has joined PTA so far! Go to the PTA store to join if you haven't already. Let's keep our membership growing to have a voice for every student at CeVMS!

DIRECT DONATION DRIVE - Last year, CeVMS PTA provided over $22,000 to our school for technology purchases, teacher and classroom grants, innovative learning materials, and so much more. The way these funds are provided to our campus is primarily through the Just For Jags Donation Driveand we would love to have your help so we can continue and even increase the current level of support! This donation drive is a fundraiser which allows 100% of your money to benefit our school and students. Rather than selling a product to receive partial profit, the Direct Donation that you provide will save our students, parents and volunteers countless hours of solicitation, while providing a larger benefit to our school as a whole. Our goals are to raise a minimum of $12,000 and to have 100% participation. Your donation is fully tax deductible, and if your employer participates in EMPLOYER MATCHING CONTRIBUTIONS, you can double your donation. Look for the envelope in the student packet that came home on the first day of school, or you can also visit http://donations.cedarvalleypta.com for more information on the program, employer matching, and to donate with a credit card.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE ALREADY DONATED!!! The Direct Donation drive is off to a great start.

1) All students entering 7th grade for the 2017-2018 school year are required to have one dose of Tdap and one dose of Meningococcal. Please submit your student's updated immunization record as soon as possible. Thank you to the parents and students who have already submitted current immunization documents.

Please remember it is district policy that if your child has a fever, they must be fever free without medications for 24 hours before returning to school. If they throw up at school, you will be called to come pick them up. Also if they have diarrhea you will be called to come get them. We will also send children home, if they can not stay awake, are pulling at their ears, or have green runny noses, once they have been seen by our nurse. We have children with very low immune systems in the class and we must follow these rules to protect everyone. So if you get a call from myself or the nurse please respond quickly, it is to keep everyone well and able to stay in school.
