Round Rock High School Theatre works to teach and nurture individuals who are developing as critical thinkers and performing artists in a changing world. Our process adheres to the principles of integrated learning, and provides for self and group expression. We recognize and promote “process” over “product” as most valuable to students in the classroom and in performance.

Our intention is to provide our students with ideas, techniques, rehearsal methods and performance venues that will permit us to explore the human condition, the range and intensity of human expression, and to comment on and respond to the world around us. All students, regardless of training level or experience, will actively participate.

The process in creating theatre is our primary focus. Public performance is the culmination of the process. We strive to provide our students with meaningful experiences which will foster a continuing, long term appreciation and/or participation in the performing arts.
