Description: Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization leading the movement to inspire, educate and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st-century opportunities. Their goal is to close the gender gap in technology. We will provide girls with a fun and interactive learning experience that includes an introduction to programming, website construction, games, apps, and more. We want to expose Grisham girls to the wide world of technology and engage them in hands on activities.

No Place for Hate

Description:  Grisham Middle School is proud to work towards the designation as a No Place for Hate(NPFH) school again this school year. The No Place for Hate designation was created by the Anti-Defamation League with the goal of promoting understanding and awareness to combat prejudice and discrimination of all kinds. The NPFH Coalition plans, coordinates and leads a minimum of three activities to promote understanding and awareness of the diverse groups of people in our community and in our world. Previous events sponsored by the No Place for Hate Coalition include Mix It Up Lunch, various lessons during DEN and the Digital Citizenship Week.
