I teach AP Psychology and US History, and I am passionate about teaching my students how to think about the world. I attended the University of Texas at Austin ( Hook 'em!), and I am currently a graduate candidate in the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History's M.A. program with Adams State University. This means that when I'm not here at McNeil, I am most likely doing a lot of researching and writing. When I'm not teaching, reading, or writing, I'm probably doing things with my family, gardening, playing guitar, creating things, non-academic reading, and non-academic writing. The most important thing I can teach my students is how to persevere and love learning. All of my students deserve an education that allows them to grow and acquire the skills they need to meet challenges as they make their way toward life beyond K-12.
