Student Support Services (SSS) Overview:
The SSS team, in partnership with parents and classroom teachers, is committed to creative problem-solving while prioritizing learners' well-being. Our strategic goal for this school year is to inspire confidence in all learners.
Our solutions team is comprised of the following members: - Administration
- Learning Specialists
- School Psychologist
- Registered Nurse
- School Counselor
- Occupational Therapist
- Speech Language Pathologist
- Instructional Aides
The purpose of this student-centered team is to: - Analyze environmental, curricular, instructional, and individual student factors that impact student learning
- Develop and implement interventions to address the identified challenges through the Student Study Team (SST) process
- Via our Learning Center, general education teachers collaborate with learning specialists to create individualized accommodations, model instructional strategies, lead small group instruction, and provide training in a variety of curriculum areas
- Monitor interventions, collect and communicate data as well as report on student progress
