Welcome to Roland-Story HS School Counselor. My name is Terri Heisterkamp. I received my Bachelor's degree in education from UNI. I obtained a Masters of Science and a Master of Education degree from Iowa State University. I have just completed my 28th year as an employee of public education in Iowa.  My teaching experiences include high school guidance, K-12 physical education, health, driver's education, and various coaching positions. Places I have taught or coached include Gilbert, Eldora, Saydel, Nevada, Iowa State University, and Roland-Story. Registering New students to the RSHS for the 2017-2018 School Year

  1. You may register for enrollment by picking up materials at the:

    1. High School-Principal’s office (1009 Story Street, Story City; doors located on the SW corner of the building)  

    2. District Office (Located on SE corner of the building) **Summer-best option!

    3. Or request them to be mailed to you by calling the District Office at 733-4301

  1.  New student registration day is August 10, 2017. To set up your initial appointment you must call the Principal's office-515-733-4329. Mrs. Origer, the HS administrative assistant, will provide you with the information you need in order to register your student.

3. School begins August 23, 2017. Please note that administrators, counselors, and staff are required to be
        in school related meetings August 18th-22nd, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00.

4. If you have a current transcript from your previous school please bring it with you.  If you do not have a transcript, please  contact the
         previous school so they can fax (515-733-2131) or scan it to me. It will make it much easier to set up your new schedule. Thank you!
