Reminder:  Please turn OFF all cell phones NOW and put them away.  Also, please remember aerosol cans are not allowed on campus.

Teachers, please be sure to enforce the dress code policy.

Tuesday’s Breakfast:  Bagel, Cinnamon Roll, Bagel Sandwich or Strawberry/Cinnamon Pop Tart.

Today at the Spring View Café:  Burrito, Beef Chimi, Pizza, Bosco Stick, Turkey Deli Sandwich, Teriyaki Rice Bowl or BBQ Rib Sandwich.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Please check your cafeteria account---there will be no more charging. Thank you.

Promotion Dance and SunSplash Tickets:  Students must pre-purchase a ticket.  The cost is $5.00 per ticket for the dance and includes entertainment, raffle prizes and refreshments.  You may also pre-order a 5x7 dance photo for $5.00. SunSplash tickets are $25.00.  Total cost for everything is $35.00 cash or check (made out to Spring View).  Ticket sales will take place in homeroom and 

This week is SPRING VIEW SPIRIT WEEK. Dress up and earn SPIRIT POINTS!  Today is Mismatch Day.  Thanks to all students whose outfits are NOT matching today!  Tomorrow is Hat Day-yes, you may wear a hat but you MUST take if off inside ALL classrooms.  Wednesday is Hawaiian Day-dress like you’re going to the beach!  Dress code applies!  Thursday is Superhero Day-dress like your favorite superhero or make one up!  Friday is Random Academy Color Day:  Cornell is black, West Point is purple, Harvard is green, and Yale is orange.  Stanford is pink, Berkeley is yellow and USC is blue.

Friday we will have our last lunchtime game of the year--stay tuned to the announcements to hear what we’re playing on Friday!

Last Friday’s Spirit Day was worth TRIPLE the points.  Here’s the breakdown!  Cornell earned 1st place with 300 points, Stanford took 2nd with 270 points, West Point took third with 240 points, USC took 4th with 210 points, Berkeley took 5th with 180 points, Yale took 6th with 150 points and Harvard took 7th with 120 points.

Goodbye Grams will be on sale next week in the student store.  They’re only a quarter each and you can send one to anyone on campus.  Stay tuned for more details!

It’s not too late to pick up a WEB Leader application—7th graders may pick up an application in room 27 or print one off the Spring View website.  All WEB Leader applications are due this Friday to Ms. Knox in room 27.  Thanks!

Attention all student athletes attending Rocklin High School, there is a meet and greet today at 5:30 p.m. in the Rocklin High School gym for incoming freshman boys interested in playing basketball. This will be a great way to meet the coaching staff and other basketball players.  Parents and players are highly encouraged to attend. More details can be found at rocklinbball.com

Attention All CJSF Members:  Forms for the spring field trip to Golfland are now available.  The field trip is Thursday, May 19th.  We will be going to Golfland for 3-hours of unlimited mini golf, laser tag and go-carts.  Pizza and soda will be provided.  Get your forms online at the Spring View Middle School website or pick one up in room 26.  Forms are due TODAY. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Ballard. 

Attention all Students:  Both Rocklin and Whitney High Schools will be offering summer athletic camps in a variety of sports.  These camps are a great way to begin the transition from middle school to high school.  Both high school coaches and players will be facilitating the camps which focus on fundamentals and skills as well as providing a competitive fun atmosphere.  Your homeroom teacher has these fliers available if you are interested.

Station Xtreme’s last dance of the school year is Friday.  You can purchase tickets at lunch this week for $10 or Friday night at the door for $15 with your school ID.  Swing by Station Xtreme after school if you would like more information.
