Reminder:  Please turn OFF all cell phones NOW and put them away.  Also, please remember aerosol cans are not allowed on campus.


Teachers, please be sure to enforce the dress code policy.


Monday’s Breakfast:  Bagel, Breakfast Burrito or Strawberry/Cinnamon Pop Tart.


Today at the Spring View Café:  Burrito, Beef Chimi, Big Daddy Pizza, Bosco Stick w/sauce, BBQ Rib Sandwich, Turkey Deli Sandwich w/chips, Teriyaki Rice Bowl and Sherbet Cup.


East Coast Spaghetti Feed this evening in the multi.


Attention Students:  If you received a letter and are interested in taking the ATS test please sign up in the main office with Mrs. Brewer AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.


Scrapbook Club meets today from 3:30-7:30 p.m. in the library.  We ask each participant to help with the cost of snacks, beverages and dinner.  Sign up with Mrs. Stevens in the main office if you are planning to attend.


The second dance of the year will be next Friday, February 11th from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  The theme is “NO THEME—that’s right, it’s the “NO THEME”--themed dance.  Remember…dress code applies.  You can buy your tickets next week on Wednesday and Thursday before and after school in the student store for $5.00.  Ticket packages may be purchased on Wednesday and Thursday ONLY for $10.00. Packages include a photo, dance ticket and 2 snack bar items. If you wait until Friday to buy your ticket, the price will go up to $7.00 on Friday if you buy it before/after school and $10.00 if you wait until the door to buy your ticket.  There will also be raffle prizes at the dance—if you buy your ticket and come to the dance, you’ll automatically be entered to win!  So remember, you can buy your ticket Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week before/after school in the student store.  Buy your ticket early because prices go up on Friday and packages will NOT be sold on Friday!  If you have any questions, ask your homeroom Leadership rep!!


Attention Students:  If you would like a yearbook, you must act now!  A limited number of remaining copies are being sold.  Go online to www.jostens.com (that is J-O-S-T-E-N-S.com) to order or bring $40 cash or check to your homeroom teacher by today.  Books will be sold on a first come, first served basis.  Questions?  See Mrs. Davidson in room 54.


Attention All Students:  CJSF applications for the spring semester are now available on the school webpage or in room 26.  CJSF is an honor society. The purpose of CJSF is to foster high standards, service, and citizenship.   ALL students may apply this semester.  Completed applications are due Monday, February 14th.  Return the completed application and a copy of your fall semester’s report card to Mrs. Ballard in room 26 by the due date.  No late applications will be accepted.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ballard.


Next Tuesday, February 8th will be a special Spring View spirit day. Our 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball teams will compete against Granite Oaks our cross-town rivals.  We want to support our girls’ basketball players by wearing red and/or black on Tuesday of next week.  This WILL count for academy spirit points and it doesn’t matter what grade you’re in! Anyone wearing red OR black on Tuesday will count for spirit points and show support for our girls’ basketball teams as they take on the Falcons of Granite Oaks.  Questions?  Ask your homeroom Leadership rep!


Students please remember to recycle your water/Powerade bottles and cans in the designated containers!
