Some people love football; others just can't stand it.

Some days are full of enjoyment; others begin and end terribly.


These sentences have two parts, one starting with some, the other with others. They tell you two different ideas about the same thing.
Don't forget the semi- colon in between the two parts of the sentence.

These are compound sentences, where you include two points of view.
