I have a Level 1 License

New for 2019, no more self-assessment/verification form!

What is your situation?

I have a Level 1 Endorsement on my license, BUT I have either not had it for 3 years or I have not been using that endorsement for the last 3 years. I have a Level 1 Endorsement on my license AND I HAVE BEEN using that endorsement for the last 3 years.

What am I going to do?

You will be renewing your Level 1 endorsement
back to a Level 1.
You will be transitioning your Level 1 endorsement
to a Level 2.

How many hours of professional development are needed to relicense.

45 licensing hours (3 credits) are required.  At least 15 of the hours (1 credit) must align with the content and knowledge standards of your endorsement.  These hours need to have been completed during the last three years.  A list of approved professional development activities is attached below.  Most professional development activities are limited to 45 hours.  There are exceptions, however.  Contact your LSB rep or the VT DOE to find out more.
