Meet the Staff

Sharon Ladago
Hello, I am the teacher at Caverly Preschool. I have been an educator for over thirty years. I have a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Communication Disorders and a Master's Degree of Education in the areas of Early Childhood  and Special Education. My first teaching experience was at the Colorado school for the Deaf. From there I Moved to MA where I was employed as a Speech Therapist. I have been a preschool teacher and special educator in the Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union since I moved to VT in 1986. I live in Sudbury with my husband, dog and cat.  I  have 3 sons; one is a biologist for VT Fish and Wildlife, another is living in Colorado working, playing and traveling and my youngest just graduated from college. I believe that I have the best job ever! I go to work and am greeted by beautiful little faces that make me smile every day. It is pretty much impossible not to feel happy when you are surrounded by tiny beings full of hope and wonder.

Anita Caldwell
I have worked for RNESU as a paraeducater since 1999;  the past 8 years in the Early Ed. Program. I love working with the youngest population; their energy, enthusiasm, and obscure references are nothing short of delightful. The huge changes and growth they experience from month to month is always astounding and I'm privileged to bare witness.  I live in Rutland Town with my husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.

Tracy Simonds
Hi, my name is Tracy. I live in Whiting with my husband and three daughters. We own Triple K Petting Barn. We have lots of animals! When I'm not at school, I am working on the farm.
I have worked in preschool classrooms for ten years. I have my associates degree in early education. Being with children brings me great joy. I love their sincerity, enthusiasm, and that every day at school is different.
