There is a lot going on in the Art room this time of year. Here are some of the "highlights":
  • The Fifth Graders has finished their digital animations and they can be viewed here: Digital Animation - Faber
  • I have been uploading and sharing the newest pictures of our "life in the art room"  via google + and you you can see them here: Google+ Neshobe Art
  • The Sixth Graders will begin piloting a new approach to learning in the Art room. They will be participating in a experiment with "choice-based" art. A choice-based art classroom is one where the students are given more choice about what they make, what materials they use, and how long they work on a project. All of the usual standards and goals will be addressed, we will just be doing it a different way. If you are curious about "choice-based" learning in art follow this link for more information: Choice-based Art or get in touch with me (Mr. B.) at school.
These are just a few of the exciting things that have been happening recently. Keep checking the website for more news! (I will update it as regularly as possible!) Thanks.
