In March of 2002 the corporation I.K.I.C.D.I., Inc. was formed and shortly thereafter the doing business as (DBA) name of RE/MAX Pros was added.  We opened our doors in September of that year.

Through some creative marketing efforts we started getting inquiries and agents began joining us.  For the most part, those coming on board were experienced, independent professionals looking for a comfortable place to work.  Reasons for leaving their companies varied but the general consensus was that they were interested in a high paying commission plan, wanted proper advice when there were problems, craved systems and technology that worked and to be without the distraction of office politics.

As time went on we did our best to listen to what our agents needed through day to day interactions while offering suggestions and guidance on parts of the business that deserved attention (seemed to be lacking).  Some examples included: quality photography, well written & compelling property descriptions, the importance of removing stress from the transaction for the client, best practices for dealing with multiple offers and stigmas and using technology effectively.  

We also got involved with innovations and technology foreign to our market.  We were one of the first companies in the U.S. to develop our own listing syndication platform.  In 2005 we were sending our listings to over 35 different online portals including Trulia & Zillow right out of a small Linux server in our phone room.  This was long before any of the major real estate franchisors or large local independents got involved.  We were the first in our market to offer digital signatures and couple it with a completely paperless environment and have since made the company entirely cloud based so you are able to conduct business anywhere through the internet without it being overly complicated.

After much contemplation change seemed to be in order so we are happy to announce our recent affiliation with HomeSmart.  We are able to offer better services with more attractive commission programs that are simple to understand and maximize the agents' income while offering all of the services essential to running your business properly without additional expense. 

Our appeal is as it was when we first opened, to take the best care of our professionals so they can provide optimum service to their clients.  Our plan is to grow but stay at a manageable size.  We will strive to streamline operations where possible and only introduce additional technology and services that will better what we offer.

We have been fortunate in having the opportunity to work with our agents.  They are hard working, honest people and work in the best interest of those they serve.  They have taught us much and still do and are the reason we are in business and give us purpose.
