Honors Math, Music, and Art Seminar (HNRS 3900)
This seminar is co-taught with Prof. Heather Pinson.  The syllabus is available on the National Collegiate Honors Council's selection of sample honors syllabi. Prof. Pinson and VanDieren have co-authored two papers related to this course.
Honors Research Methods (HNRS 4900)
This course is co-taught with Prof. Philip Harold.  Students identify their honors thesis topics, design a research plan and write a literature review.
Honors First-Year Experience (FYSP 1005)
This one-credit seminar course takes place during the week preceding the fall semester.  Freshmen honors students become acclimated to the campus and to the honors program through a week of book discussions, cultural explorations, service projects and recreational activities.
Multi-variable Calculus (MATH 3090)
This course is the third and final course in the calculus sequence. The NSF-funded program Calc Plot 3d is used to visualize the three-dimensional geometric concepts.
