International Undergraduate Applicant Checklist
Application Deadlines: May 1st for Fall attendance and November 1st for Spring attendance


Following the checklist below will assist you in the application process.
  1. Apply Online - it's free!
  2. Completed, signed and notarized (certified) Financial Statement
  3. Official transcripts of secondary education with English translation
  4. Official TOEFL or IELTS score report if your native language is other than English*
  5. Copy of your passport
* Required TOEFL score for undergraduate admission is:
  • 500 written
  • 173 computer based
  • 61 Internet-based
Required IELTS score for undergraduate admission is 5.0.

Note: The Institutional Code for Robert Morris University for TOEFL and SAT is 2769.


Costs and Scholarship Opportunities

RMU awards academic scholarship money to international students. To be eligible for this scholarship, each student must submit a GPA score as reported by an accredited credential evaluation agency (e.g. WES or ECE, among others).

  3. Official transcripts of all colleges and universities attended
  4. Official transcripts of secondary education with English translation*
  5. Official TOEFL score report if your native language is other than English**
  6. Photocopies of all previously issued I-20s
  7. Photocopies of passport, I-94 card and Visa page
* These requirements will not be necessary if the student has completed a minimum of 30 credits at a U.S. institution.

** Required TOEFL score for undergraduate admission is:
  • 500 written
  • 173 computer-based
  • 61 Internet-based
Required IELTS score for undergraduate admission is 5.0.
