rjb81media have been asked by World Soccer magazine to contribute some thoughts on last season and indeed next season, in reference to Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
 
Richard had to provide short answers to six questions, that will form a part of a season preview along with answers of bloggers and amateur writers, that support other clubs.
 
Richard is honoured to have been approached in any capacity by such a respected publication.
 
 

08.06.2012    PFA Update - rjb81media Contacted Again
 
rjb81media have had further contact with the PFA on the subject of cardiac arrests on the football field.
 
Deputy Chief Executive, John Bramhall, has emailed rjb81media regarding the articles Richard wrote about the worrying increase in such incidents.
 
Mr Bramhall states that the various footballing authorities are convening a panel of cardiovascular consultants and specialists, to review testing procedures and the stresses on the modern footballer. In itself this was the main thrust of the rjb81media articles on the subject.
 
In addition to this Mr Bramhall states that specific points arising from the rjb81media articles, will be put to the panel.
 
rjb81media is extremely grateful to the PFA for the update, and welcomes the news.

17.04.2012     PFA Chief Gordon Taylor Contacts rjb81media Over Cardiac Arrests


The Chief Executive of the Professional Footballers' Association (the PFA), Gordon Taylor OBE, has contacted rjb81media in relation to articles published in The Daisy Cutter. The articles pertain to cardiac arrests in football, in the immediate aftermath of the dramatic on-field collapse of Fabrice Muamba.

The communication received from Mr Taylor indicates that the PFA intend to discuss the issues raised in two rjb81media articles, at their next Medical Committee meeting.

rjb81media will keep this site updated regarding any further response received.
