At this gathering we'll also be discussing a Trinity River excusion for January 7th. We'll need RSVP by January 3rd for those brave enough to man-up so be sure and come to the party! This excursion is being hosted by the NTRR and Trinity River Expeditions (click on the NTRR Logo to the right to visit their website). Weather and water level permitting we'll shuttle the boats to the 3700 Sylvan Ave boat ramp on the West Fork of the Trinity. We'll go down Mountain Creek to Sylvan (about 6+ miles) and enjoy Eagle Ford shale, some small rapids, go past the confluence of West and Elm Forks, see springs and seeps and local flora and fauna. It's easy access and we're planning a meal to cap it off. We'll be discussing details "at the Party".
