It's the Rule, Shots Before School:

Idaho Law Requires all incoming 7th grade students to have proof of a Tdap and Meningococcal shots

in order to attend school. Nurses from the Health Deptartment will be at the Elementary School on Thursday, April 6th to give Immunizations to the 6th graders, so that your child is ready to attend school in the Fall. You can access the consent forms here.

If you find that your child has lice, please call the school to let them know. You need to keep them home to treat and they will need to stay home from school until they are nit free. Once you no longer find nits, the child can return to school and is required to come straight to the office to be checked and declared nit free to return to class.

Please refer to the additional information below.

We will be doing our Hand Washing education at the elementary school next week, January 23-26th. Students will hear the Why, When and How of Hand Washing, along with participating in an experiment to see how well they do.

Some good habits for all to remember during this time of sicknesses are:

1-WASH your hands for 20 seconds

2-DO NOT cough into your hands.

3-DO NOT sneeze into your hands.

4-Above all, DO NOT put your fingers into your eyes, nose or mouth!

Lets all do our part to keep ourselves and those around us healthy!
