Mission Statement

The mission of Ririe School District #252, in partnership with the community, is to prepare students for the future enabling every student to gain knowledge and skills, to develop confidence, to value lifelong learning, and to become responsible, contributing members of our changing world.

IRI Achievement

Based on IRI data going back for many years, Ririe Elementary has never accomplished this. Ririe Elementary students taking the Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI) beat the State average in every positive category!!!!!!!!!!

Ririe School District #252 is seeking bids, cash only, for the old elementary school building and the land surrounding it located at 580 1st W. Ririe, Idaho. The appraisal for the building can be reviewed on the Ririe School District’s web site ririe252.org.  The estimated fair market value which includes all land and building is estimated at $205,000 in July of 2015.

  • The property is an entire city block.

  • The City of Ririe has an alleyway that runs (south to north) through the middle of the block.

  • The tennis court lots are restricted and must continue to be used as a public tennis court unless Ririe School District and high bidder can agree differently.

  • The purchase will exclude the playground equipment it will be relocated.

Sealed bids should be delivered to Ririe School District #252. Bids should be mailed or delivered to ℅ Kristi Hamilton at PO Box 508 Ririe, ID 83443 or delivered to 260 1st W. Ririe, ID 83443. All bids must be received by the District no later than 2:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on Thursday, September 14, 2017; any bid not received by this time will be rejected without opening.

Bids will be opened during regular Board meeting on September 14, 2017.  Ririe School District # 252 reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Requests for inspection of buildings can be arranged at 538-7311 ext. 1 or bjenson@ririe252.org.

Parents can do the following to help:
  1. Avoid using reverse while picking up and dropping off children.
  2. Spend time reading with your child daily.
  3. Assure your children attend school each and every day. Specifically, the 1st 34 days of school (until Nov. 3th ). 
  4. Complete "Free and Reduced" form in the parent portal.
  5. Spread news about Positive Happenings in our schools.
