NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE

You will need Archbishop Riordan High School’s CEEB code which is 053000

What is the NCAA clearinghouse used for?

It is only for NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II student athletes.  It sets the minimum academic standards that high school athletes must meet in order  to be eligible to be recruited and participate at the NCAA Div I or Div II level.

What are the requirements?

  1. Specific coursework taken from the list of NCAA-approved core courses.
  2. GPA from the list of NCAA-approved core courses
  3. SAT Scores

When do I register with the NCAA Clearinghouse?

AFTER the junior year of high school.  You should have at least six semesters of units listed on your transcript before you file.

How do I register with the NCAA Clearinghouse?

  1. Go online at  https://web1.ncaa.org/eligibilitycenter/student/index_student.html
  2. Go on to Naviance and request a transcript to be sent to the NCAA Clearinghouse when you first register
  3.  At the end of your Senior year Riordan will automatically send Final Transcripts for all students that requested a NCAA transcript earlier in the year.
  4. Send your SAT scores to the NCAA clearing house

How do I send my SAT or ACT scores?

Scores must be sent directly from the testing center.  For SATs go to www.collegeboard.com and for ACT’s go to www.act.org

The NCAA code that is used for tests to be sent is: 9999

How much does it cost to register?

$50.00 and you can pay online with a credit card.

If you use a fee waiver  you must send Mr. Anastasio an email so that he can verify that you are fee waiver eligible.  You must have used a fee waiver on a SAT exam to be fee waiver eligible.
