Mission Statement:
The mission of Ridgefield High School is to enable all students to become self-directed and self-reflective learners. We engage all students in opportunities to improve their academic performance, develop their interpersonal skills, and achieve an understanding of their roles and responsibilities as citizens of our democratic society. We create a climate of trust, security, and pride to encourage a lifestyle that nourishes our minds, bodies, and spirits. To that end, Ridgefield High School collaborates with parents and the community to provide a variety of educational experiences which support academic, social, and civic growth in an environment which promotes a respect for diversity.

  • COURSE SELECTION Thank you to everyone who came out on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 for the Course Selection Presentations.  If you weren't able to make it (or if you would like a refresher) click here for the Grade 9 presentation, here for the Grade 10 presentation and here for the Grade 11 presentation.  As always, please see your counselor with any question!   

  • THE COUNSELING LAB Attention all Freshmen!  All Freshmen must attend one workshop during a free period between Tuesday, March 5 and Friday, March 22.  The focus of the workshops will be goal setting and continued work in Naviance.   
  • FINANCIAL AID Seniors. The Local Scholarship Application deadline is March 15, 2019.  Please make sure to complete the application in the Parent Portal in order to be eligible!

  • FINANCIAL AID On Wednesday, November 7th the Ridgefield/Wilton College Fair Partnership hosted their annual Financial Aid Night.  Thanks to Diana Draper and Shanique Edmond from Fairfield University for helping to make sense of this difficult topic.  If you missed the presentation (or if you need a refresher) click here to be taken to the slide show!

  • 2018-2019 - COUNSELING LAB! Drop in help is available for all students.  Come to Room A134 during any lunch wave for help with the Common Application, Naviance, SAT information, etc. This drop in help is available to all students and no appointment is necessary.

  • KHAN ACADEMY and the COLLEGE BOARD Khan Academy has partnered with the College Board to offer free SAT Prep to all high school students.  Please follow the link to find Khan Academy. Good luck!
