"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who'll decide where to go." -Dr. Seuss

Mrs. Pasquarella is known around SES as Mrs. JP.  She has been a part of this school community since 2001 when she began as the literacy paraprofessional.  After two years of working with students K-5, Mrs. JP decided it was time to go beyond her BA in Cognitive and Social Sciences from Hampshire College and attend the Elementary Education Certification Program at WCSU.  At the end of her program, she returned to SES and student taught under 5th grade teacher Mrs. Jaykus, and then began a long term sub position in fourth grade- where she ended up for two years before moving back to fabulous fifth grade. She is currently obtaining her Masters in Education with a concentration in Reading from WCSU. She enjoys every moment teaching reading, science, and social studies.

Outside of school Mrs. JP enjoys spending time with her two children, Xavier and Willow, and her husband. As a family, they spend hours outdoors hiking and camping. Mrs. JP is enthralled by the environment. Whenever she has the chance, she will spend hours photographing nature. However, her true passion is dance. Before teaching, dancing was her entire life. She even spent time training at the Martha Graham Studio in NYC.
