First Graders will explore a range of topics including:
Light and Shadows
Living Things and Life Cycles
Forces and Motion
We engage in different experiments and exploration throughout the year. Some Fridays we will participate in "Find Out Friday." This is a time of the week where students have a chance to investigate, wonder, predict, and explore. (Sometimes we get a bit messy!) Be sure to ask your child what they discovered!! We will also conduct very important research using our Chromebooks! We will research topics including: Martin Luther King Jr., spiders, winter weather, bears, groundhogs, etc.
