Middle School Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all 6th through 8th grade students who enjoy singing.  It is a 1 or 2 semester course, and rehearsals are held on Maroon days during the Middle School Exploratory block.  Students will offer praise to God with their musical talents by learning a variety of 2-3 part music; developing sight-singing skills; and singing with correct posture, breath control, resonance, registration, tone quality and diction.   Choir members are required to sing in several Middle/High School Chapels, the RCS Christmas Concert and/or the RCS Spring Concert, and if scheduled, an ACSI Choral Festival for adjudication.  Attendance at any local Music Festival will be optional.
